Cleaning FAQ for Playa del Carmen.

We offer four types of residential cleaning in Playa del Carmen: Refresh (light maintenance for unoccupied apartments), Standard (full clean — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen, bathrooms), Deep (intensive — baseboards, ceiling fans, mineral buildup, grout), and Move In/Out (top-to-bottom including inside cabinets, fridge, oven, wardrobes). We also offer add-ons like window cleaning, AC unit cleaning, balcony cleaning, and floor scrubbing.

Standard cleaning covers areas up to 2 meters height. Living areas: vacuum and mop all floors, clean doors, mirrors, picture frames, light switches. Bathroom: toilet inside and outside, shower spray and wipe, vanity, faucets. Kitchen: cabinet exteriors, countertop, backsplash, stove, microwave inside and out, fridge exterior. Bedroom: bed frame, wardrobe and nightstand exteriors, vacuum and mop under the bed. Important: we do not bring a ladder for Standard — ceiling fans, top of fridge/cabinets, and baseboards are covered in Deep cleaning.

Everything in Standard, plus we bring a ladder — so all areas above 2 meters are included: ceiling fans, top of fridge, top of cabinets, ceiling lights and vents, showerheads, cobweb removal, curtain rods. Also includes: baseboards throughout, behind the toilet, heavy shower scrubbing, showerhead cleaning, mineral buildup and mold spot removal, inside bathroom cabinets, heavy stove scrubbing, mopping under carpets, trash bins inside and outside, and laundry machine exteriors. Recommended quarterly.

Everything in Deep cleaning, plus: kitchen cabinets inside, dishes, dishwasher inside and out, oven inside grease removal, fridge inside cleaning, wardrobe inside, nightstand inside, and laundry machines inside and out. This is our most thorough service.

A light maintenance cleaning ideal for unoccupied apartments. Includes mopping all floors, basic surface wiping, and a quick bathroom refresh. Perfect for owners living abroad who want a monthly check-in: we ventilate the apartment, run all water outlets, water plants, and do a light cleaning. Use the calculator for your exact price.

Standard covers all basics up to 2 meters height. Anything above 2 meters (top of fridge, ceiling fans, showerheads, ceiling lights) is not included because we don't bring a ladder. Baseboards are also not included. Deep cleaning includes everything in Standard, and we bring a ladder — so everything above 2 meters is covered, plus baseboards, heavy scrubbing, mineral buildup removal, and more. Standard is recommended weekly; Deep is recommended quarterly.

Window cleaning (rail, frame, glass), AC unit exterior and filter cleaning, floor scrubbing with orbital machine, balcony and patio cleaning, toilet mineral buildup removal, shower mineral buildup and mold removal, showerhead decalcification, faucet aerator decalcification, inside bathroom cabinets, kitchen cabinets inside, dishes, dishwasher inside, oven inside heavy scrubbing, fridge inside, wardrobe inside, nightstand inside, bed making, clothes organizing, and gym equipment cleaning.

We do not handle: animal or human waste removal, biohazard items, areas heavily affected by mold, areas infested with insects, walls or ceilings, and BBQ or grill equipment.

Window cleaning (including rails, frames, and glass) is available as an extra add-on. For windows higher than 2 meters, we use an extension pole with a squeegee. Use the calculator to add window cleaning and see exact pricing.

Balcony and patio cleaning is available as an add-on at additional cost. Laundry service is also available — we handle washing, drying, and folding through our laundry partner. Extra charges apply based on weight and special items like comforters and mattress protectors.

Yes — Playacar 1 and Playacar 2 are in our Zone 3 service area. A small transportation surcharge applies.

Refresh — about 1 hour. Standard — about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Deep — about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Move In/Out — about 3 to 4 hours. Larger or heavily soiled properties may take longer.

Working electricity, running water, and working AC. The space should be reasonably tidy — we clean but don't declutter. We also need access instructions (lockbox code, keys, or security gate info). You don't need to provide supplies — we bring everything.

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Cards can be saved for automatic payment. Payment is due on the day of service. Cancellation: at least 24 hours before at no charge. Under 24 hours may incur a fee — this covers the cleaner's committed time.
